Chester, you had been dealing with depression for God knows how long, I don’t even know if people close to you tried to help you, I don’t know if you were receiving proper help, but now the reality is that you are gone, and even when I had not been following you closely for years, and only knew some of your songs, I’m finding it really hard to not be deeply affected by your passing.
I don’t know what exactly it is this connection I have with you, and I know this might not mean anything by now, but I am so sorry, I am so so sorry that you saved so many lives and we could not save yours. Your light has not gone out, your light has transcended and will remain shining through eternally through your music and voice.
